SAP Infographic: On Road to S/4HANA, Optimize Labeling Now
If you’re running SAP to help drive your business, it only makes sense to pull data directly from this system of record for all of your key supply chain processes—including labeling. And yet, many companies still rely on disparate labeling software that isn't integrated with SAP. They’ll use a separate database or worse—spreadsheets—to manage labeling information, which leads to costly errors and delays.
That’s why more and more organizations are integrating labeling in SAP to eliminate duplication of data and ensure accurate, consistent labels across their supply chain. But even then, there are some important factors to consider before choosing an integrated labeling solution for SAP…
- Look for a solution that’s been tested and verified to work in SAP environments. Certified integration is key, and Loftware Spectrum offers the industry’s highest level, integrating with Netweaver to support multiple data interfaces (RDI, XSF, XFP).
- Demand flexible deployment options that meet your organization’s evolving needs. You have the choice to implement Spectrum on premise, in the Cloud or in hybrid environments. And as labeling usage demands change within SAP or otherwise, know your labeling will keep pace.
- Make sure your solution will continue to optimize labeling as you move to platforms like S/4HANA. No matter where you are on your SAP journey, Loftware drives consistent labeling across your global supply chain. Enjoy the same performance in ECC, Business Suite on HANA, S/4HANA and even mixed-version environments.
There’s been more talk lately about SAP’s decision to stop supporting its Business Suite ERP in 2025, which will require all SAP ERP customers to eventually migrate to S/4HANA. Interestingly, in a recent survey of 280 SAP users on their readiness for S/4HANA, 73% were not aware of this impending deadline to switch.
Check out our new infographic that captures this data point as well as several others from the survey.
